UNEF Troops Keep in Good Health

UNEF Troops Keep in Good Health

Although most of UNEF's soldiers have suffered from mild attacks of dysentery and similar diseases, familiar to troops concentrated in the area during World War II, their rate of sickness has been much lower than expected. The high food value of UNEF rations and the health precautions taken by UNEF have helped create this bright picture. Even the current Asian influenza epidemic in the Middle East has not seriously affected the young soldiers from the ten nations which make up the United Nations Emergency Force in the Gaza Strip and the Sinai Desert.
